KP Govt will spend 1.3 tn on the development of tribal districts
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's chief minister, Mahmood Khan, said more than 1300 billion rupees would be spent in tribal districts as part of the ten-year development plan.
Speaking to a Jirga tribe in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said elected committees have already been formed to identify projects in the tribal districts.
The chief minister said that one billion rupees will be distributed to young people in each tribal district to start their own business.
Earlier this week, CM KP launched a spring tree planting campaign in Peshawar.
Speaking on this occasion, he asked all members of society to contribute to Pakistan's green and clean campaign.
Students from different educational institutions also planted seedlings on this occasion.
Mahmood Khan also encourages tourism in the province in this regard, several places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are promoted for tourism.
CM KP said the tourism sector would thrive under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Energy Division Minister Omar Ayub Khan said the government has normalized the situation in the country and invited people from around the world to come and see the beautiful landscapes of Pakistan .
He said Pakistan is now declared as the most suitable destination for tourism due to the important measures taken by the government. He said that the Khanpur dam is also an attractive place for tourists.
