Chandigarh BJP will highlight achievements of Modi governments through mass contact – Chandigarh
To mark the completion of the Modi government’s second term in office for a year, the local unit of the BJP will highlight the “achievements” of the Union government through a program of mass contacts.
BJP City President Arun Sood at a press conference held at BJP headquarters in Sector 33 said a three-pronged strategy to connect with people personally, digitally and virtually to highlight achievements.
“In an unprecedented activity in line with the current scenario, the BJP will organize mass virtual gatherings. About 1,000 virtual conferences will be organized for the heads of state to address. Each party morcha will organize at least 500 such videoconferences to disseminate information on the achievements of the Modi government, “he said.
The city unit will distribute a letter written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” among local residents.
Regarding the controversy surrounding the installation of the animal carcass incinerator in sector 25W, Sood said that he preferred it to be installed away from residential areas and assured that the question was re-examined by the MC .
Speaking of the opposition party’s alleged silence on the issue of tuition fees, Sood said that a senior Congressional leader has a leading private school in Sector 40 and that is why Congress is silent on the question.
