After returning home, Jokowi and Ms Iriana visited the funeral home of the late Tjahjo Kumolo
PAPUA PORTAL– Back in his native country (Indonesia), on Saturday July 02, 2022, after having made a working visit to Germany, Ukraine, Russia and the United Arab Emirates (PEA) for a week.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Mrs. Iriana Jokowi paid homage at the funeral home of the late Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB Minister) Tjahjo Kumolo, at Widya Chandra Ministerial Complex, Jakarta.
Arriving around 07:22 WIB, the President and Mrs. Iriana were immediately greeted by Tjahjo’s wife, Erni Guntarti, and their children, namely Rahajeng Widyaswari, Karunia Putri Pari Cendana, and their daughter-in-law Detri Warmanto. The president and Ms Iriana then spoke with the family of the deceased.
After speaking and praying for the deceased, President Jokowi and Ms Iriana said goodbye and then left the funeral home.
President Jokowi remembers the late Tjahjo Kumolo as a calm and simple person. According to the president, Tjahjo Kumolo is also an exemplary figure and a true nationalist.
