Every year, September 28 marks the birthday of India’s Queen of Melody, Lata Mangeshkar. Remembering her on this occasion, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, took to Twitter to share a special message for his beloved Lata Didi. He also informed that a chowk will be named after Late Lata Mangeshkar in Ayodhya and it is the nation’s tribute to one of India’s greatest icons.
Sharing his post on Twitter, he said: “Remembering Lata Didi on her birthday. There are so many things I remember the countless interactions she poured so much affection into. I’m glad that today Today, a Chowk in Ayodhya is named after It is a fitting tribute to one of India’s greatest icons.”

Observing the special day and sharing his heartfelt tribute, he said that Lataji was a melodious and kind soul, often referred to as Maa Saraswati, who perplexed the world with a divine voice. She did sadhana and we all got the benefit. He also highlighted the Veena which was unveiled in Ayodhya, Chowk and said that it would become the symbol of musical practice.
The reports add that a total of 92 wide lotuses were created along the floating waters of the lake in the chowk complex.
Prime Minister Modi also remembered Lata Didi’s sweetness and voice which mesmerized him every time he spoke to her. He also said that she expressed her joy after the completion of the long-awaited Bhumi pujan of the Ram temple.
He said that just like Lata Didi’s conscious awareness of civic duties, this government tribute will inspire many people in India and across the world to focus on their devotion to duty, and that the Veena will resonate the development of Ayodhya. and will become the inspiration. . The Prime Minister further stressed that as Indians, we must take responsibility for passing on Indian culture to future generations.
He concluded the speech by saying that the voice of Lata Didi will continue to connect every particle of this country for centuries to come.
