Joko Widodo signs Ferdy Sambo’s dismissal letter
Jakarta (ANTARA) – President Joko Widodo has signed a letter to dismiss former National Police Professional and Security Division Chief Ferdy Sambo, Presidential Military Secretary (Sesmilpres), Rear Admiral TNI said on Friday. Hersan in Jakarta.
“(The letter) has been signed and has been sent to the ASDM (Deputy Human Resources) of the National Police, thank you,” Hersan said.
Ferdy Sambo was removed from his position during the National Police Code of Conduct (KKEP) hearing held on August 25-26, 2022. Although Ferdy Sambo appealed the dismissal decision, his appeal was also dismissed at a trial on September 19, 2022.
After being officially dismissed, the national police initiated an administrative procedure for the dismissal of Ferdy Sambo at the HR division of the police, then forwarded it to the Sesmilpres.
The National Police has also scheduled the transfer of Phase II of the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat and obstruction of justice, who framed Ferdy Sambo and his friends as suspects, as well as evidence on Monday (3/10) at the police criminal investigation unit.
For the delegation, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin of Sidoarjo, East Java hopes that the trial will proceed quickly.
“It’s society able to wait, so the trial can be expedited, be prepared. Don’t delay too long. the people say Why is it taking so long?? If everything is ready, go to trial immediately,” Ma’ruf Amin said.

The transfer of phase II to the prosecution was in line with the results of the coordination with the public prosecutor (JPU) who immediately transferred the case to the court for judgment.
In total there are 12 suspects in the two cases, namely the premeditated murder case article 340 subsidiary article 338 combined with article 55 and article 56 of the penal code of which there are five suspects, namely Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Maruf and Putri Candrawati.
Although they are related to cases impeding the investigation or obstruction of justice Seven suspects are suspected of having violated Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 and/or Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of Law No. 19 of 2016 establishing amendment to the Information Act No. 11 of 2008. and Electronic transactions in combination with article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Penal Code and/or article 221 paragraph (1) of the 2nd and/or article 223 of the Penal Code in combination with article 55 paragraph ( 1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
The seven suspects are Ferdy Sambo, Brigadier General Pol. Hendra Kurniawan, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo, Kombes Pol. Agus Nur Patria, AKBP Arif Rahman Arifin and AKP Irfan Widyanto.
