Jokowi Reveals Reasons for Nominating KSAL Yudo Margono as Sole Candidate for TNI Commander

The current Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL),” said Puan during a press conference at the Nusantara III building. , Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday (28/11/2022).
He said Yudo’s name was officially handed over in a (surprised) presidential letter he received this afternoon.
Puan dismissed rumors that the surpres name had been given to the DPR and taken down.
“There appears to be speculation that letters have been sent and replaced again,” he said.
He explained that Yudo would continue with the next mechanism, namely by following the fitness and good repute test that would be organized by the DPR’s Commission I.
Even so, Puan cannot confirm when the aptitude and aptitude test will take place.
For information, Yudo Margono is the 27th Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy. He has been the Supreme Commander of the Navy since May 20, 2020.
Previously, he served as Commander of Joint Defense Area I Command, Commander of Fleet I Command and Pangkolinlamil. He is a former student of the XXIII/1988 class of the Naval Academy (AAL).
