Bandung, West Java – PDI Perjuangan DPP General Secretary Hasto Kristiyanto on Saturday commented on the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle. He said the cabinet reshuffle was under the authority of President Joko Widodo. The PDI Perjuangan, as part of the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin coalition, gave up when this was done.
“If a reshuffle can only take place on the will of the president (Joko Widodo) and it is the authority of the president,” Hasto said Saturday in Bandung, West Java.
This was said by Hasto after President Joko Widodo summoned Surya Paloh last Thursday (26/1/2023).
Hasto explained that as a party supporting the government, the PDI Perjuangan had indeed provided various contributions. However, his party was unable to release the names of those involved in the Indonesian cabinet reshuffle ahead as it relates to a person’s future.
“Of course, as a party, we make a contribution, but concerning the name, there are technical aspects. It concerns a person’s future. We apologize that we cannot convey it,” he said. -he adds.
Asked about the possibility of announcing a reshuffle by President Jokowi on Wednesday Pon (1/2), Hasto said everyone has their own momentum and preference when it comes to considering various important issues.
