The official launch of this logo took place on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the State Palace in Jakarta by Jokowi after the highest number of voting results were determined.
The nation’s child laborer, Aulia Akbar, won the most votes out of a total of more than 500,000 voters across the country who care about the development of the new capital.
The logo is themed around Tree of Life, a tree of life that contains the philosophy of the spirit of building a new capital in this country.

“The Tree of Life is a tree of life and we all hope that the Tree of Life logo will inspire IKN to create a new place for all of us to live,” said the President.
The mayor of Solo also added that the IKN would later become a source of life for all Indonesians.
The philosophy is in keeping with the spirit of building a new capital, fostering a sense of pride in identity as a great nation and a nation of diverse customs.
In addition, it is also hoped that this logo can raise public awareness to protect nature and the environment and natural ecosystems.
