The moment Jokowi and Iriana enjoy food at Yogyakarta Klotok Cafe
Yogyakarta (pilar.id) – President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo used their weekend to visit Klotok Cafe located on Jalan Kaliurang, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region on Saturday (06/03/2023).
During the visit, they were accompanied by Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono. Arrived around 09:50 WIB, President and Mrs. Iriana were warmly welcomed at Klotok Coffee Shop.
At the shop, the president and his family enjoyed some of Warung Kopi Klotok’s special menus, such as coffee klotok, sayur lodeh, tempe garit and crispy eggs. President Jokowi also praised the delicious taste of the dish.
“Very delicious. Lodeh, crispy eggs, tempe garit,” President Jokowi wrote on a chalkboard prepared for shop visitors.
Sri Handayani, the store owner, was very proud to receive the visit of President Jokowi and his family. He also said that Ibu Iriana appreciates his efforts to preserve traditional Indonesian dishes.
“Mrs. Iriana is happy because we are maintaining regional cuisine and promoting traditional Indonesian cuisine,” Sri Handayani said proudly.
Sri Handayani was also touched by the arrival of President Jokowi and his family at his booth as guests of honour.
“It touches me because the President is good and loved by his people. So who is not happy with the arrival of Mr. President? It is an honor for us,” Sri Handayani said.
Not only the store owner but also the visitors of Klotok Coffee Shop were also very happy for the arrival of President Jokowi and his family. One of them is Diah, a visitor from Jakarta who did not expect to meet President Jokowi and his family in person.
“I did not expect it at all. At first I just wanted to have breakfast here and suddenly I saw the presidential security forces passing by, and it turned out that Pak Jokowi was there. Not later that yesterday I saw him in Malioboro, I didn’t think he would come here,” Diah said.
“Have fun, and Ibu Iriana is very nice,” he added.
A similar sentiment was felt by Lina, a visitor from Surabaya who came with her family. Lina did not expect to meet President Jokowi and his family during her vacation in Yogyakarta.
“I really had no idea. Initially, we wanted to have breakfast at the hotel, but we finally decided to come to Warung Kopi Klotok early in the morning. It turns out that here is the president. Thank God , we were able to take pictures and were summoned by the president,” Lina said.
“We are very happy. Thank you Pak Jokowi. I hope you are still healthy and successful,” Lina’s son Raihan said after taking a photo with President Jokowi.
During their visit, the President and his family also greeted visitors and took photos with them at Warung Kopi Klotok. In addition, they also distributed gifts, t-shirts and books to those present. (HDL)
