Present 'achievable, measurable and clearly defined' plan in March 3 meeting: PM Modi to Cabinet colleagues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked his ministers to prepare a “feasible, measurable and clearly defined” plan and present it in the March 3 Council of Ministers meeting, government sources said on February 24.
It may be noted that Mr. Modi, during the last Cabinet meeting on February 21, had asked his ministerial colleagues to prepare an action plan for the next 100 days.
He asked them to undertake in-depth consultations, including with experienced people such as senior officials, people working on the ground and experts in the field, before formulating their action plan, the sources said.
He asked them and their ministries to reflect on the agenda for this period, which also corresponds to the likely duration before a new government takes office after the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April- may.
The Prime Minister, according to sources, wants to ensure that the government's work continues during the election cycle and his call to prepare the agenda for the next 100 days is part of such an effort.
He has also repeatedly expressed confidence in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance's continued power at the Centre.
He had recently claimed that he had already started preparing a road map for his third term and had received suggestions from over 15 lakh people.
