The Parisian house of a former French minister burgled
Burglars stole valuables worth around 120,000 euros from the house of former French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy in Paris, Europe 1 radio said, reports via TASS.
According to Europe 1, the ex-minister lost two Patek Philippe watches, jewelry and leather goods, as well as luxury clothing. The politician was not at home at the time of the burglary and only learned of the incident when he returned. Douste-Blazy filed a theft complaint and the matter was transferred to the police.
Previously, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal promised to work to improve security on the streets of French cities by increasing the number of police patrols and improving coordination between law enforcement, educational institutions and social services.
