Jokowi Appoints Judges Ardiantoro and Grace Natalie as Special Staff to the President of the Republic of Indonesia
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo appointed Juri Ardiantoro and Grace Natalie as new special aides. Their appointment was announced by the President's Special Staff Coordinator, Ari Dwipayana, in a short message received by CNBC Indonesia, Wednesday (15/5/2024).
According to Ari, Juri and Grace met with Jokowi today at Merdeka Palace. “They were both summoned by the President to receive missions as the Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Ari.
According to him, Juri and Grace took office today. Regarding his area of duties, Ari replied: “Perform special tasks as directed by the President.”
Previously, Juri was known as Deputy of the Presidential Staff Office. He then resigned on November 6, 2023 as he had accepted the mandate of vice-chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran national campaign team.
Meanwhile, Grace serves as vice chairman of the board of directors of the Indonesian Solidarity Party. In the last parliamentary elections, he was a candidate for the position of DPR RI member of the DKI Jakarta III electoral district with 193,556 votes.
Unlike the jury, journalists met Grace this afternoon in the presidential palace area. He confirmed that he had met Jokowi.
In a press statement to reporters, Grace admitted that she had a mission from Jokowi. However, he was still hesitant to reveal the mission.
“Yes, later, later when I can-share. I’ll give you permission first,” when asked about the mission in question.
Grace explained that the Minister of State, State Secretary Pratikno, was also present at the meeting. However, he confirmed that the mission in question was located within the government.
