Highlights of Lok Sabha Election 2024: India is preparing for the sixth phase of the general elections, scheduled for this Saturday, May 25. With its seven parliamentary seats, the national capital will also go to the polls in phase 6. – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to campaign in Haryana and Punjab, starting with his first rally in Bhiwani today, followed by Patiala. He will address rallies in Gurdaspur and Jalandhar on Friday. Polling for the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab is scheduled for June 1.
– Farmers' leader Balbir Singh Rajewal on Tuesday announced that farmers intend to display black flags to Prime Minister Modi during his election campaign in Punjab. The move came after a rally organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha at Jagraon in Ludhiana district.
