Imran Khan took a sabbatical after appearing alongside Kangana Ranaut in the 2015 film 'Katti Batti'. Since then, the actor has been absent from the limelight and is also not active on social media.

However, Imran returned last year and started operating his Instagram account where he often participates in conversations with his fans.

Subsequently, fans are wondering if the actor is about to make a comeback to acting.

In one of his previous interviews, Imran gave a nod about his plans to return to work, but he also shared that he is very “sensitive” about the content he receives and that he hadn't found anything that made him say “yes” until now.

The actor further mentioned that he doesn't believe in “solving problems with a gun” in films. After his comment, many thought that Imran was referring to Sandeep Reedy Vanga directorial 'Animal' which starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.

But in a recent interview, the actor clarified that he wasn't thinking of any particular film when he said that.

Imran said: “I now consciously want to get to work, I want to find something interesting to work on.” “It's easy to live in this bubble of Bollywood where you start to buy into this narrative and this worldview that the box office is king and how it's received and all that. What this ultimately does is devalue what I truly cherish.

“I'm currently very sensitive and sensitized to this kind of sadness, darkness, violence and gore, it overwhelms me.”

When asked about “Animal”, the actor replied that he had not yet seen the film and could not criticize it. He replied, “Looks like there’s quite a bit of action.”
