Narendra Modi 3.0: The first meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new cabinet took place in New Delhi on Monday. Portfolios were allotted to 71 ministers who took oath in the Prime Minister Modi-led cabinet on Sunday.
Prime Minister Modi on Monday addressed PMO officials for the first time after assuming office for a third term.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in the South Block on Monday and took charge of his third term.
After taking oath, the Prime Minister signed his first file authorizing the release of the 17th installment of Prime Minister Kisan Nidhi. This will benefit 9.3 crore farmers and distribute around Rs 20,000 crore.
The new government may also soon take a decision to increase the number of housing units under the Prime Minister's Awas Yojana.
A total of 71 people were sworn in as ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led cabinet on Sunday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, days after the NDA returned to power by winning a majority in the Lok Sabha elections.
The Modi 3.0 cabinet has expanded to 72 members, including 30 ministers and 5 ministers of state (independent charge). The majority of seats are allocated to the BJP, with the rest going to allied parties.
