Widodo's visit to W Java expected to boost efforts to combat stunting, official says
Bandung, West Java (ANTARA) – President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) visit to review the implementation of the Simultaneous Toddler Measurement and Stunting Intervention in Bogor, West Java , should motivate parties to reduce the prevalence of stunting.
Acting West Java Governor Bey Triadi Machmudin made the remarks on Tuesday.

Machmudin noted that West Java aims to reduce the prevalence of stunting to 14 percent by the end of 2024.
He expressed optimism that the target could be achieved if simultaneous activities of children's body measurement and stunting intervention were organized regularly.
These efforts can make stunting management more precise and targeted, he added.

President Widodo previously reviewed the implementation of the simultaneous child measurement and stunting intervention at the Wijaya Kusuma Integrated Health Post (Integrated health center) in Kebon Pedes village, Bogor city, West Java.
