President Jokowi once again gives sacrificial cows to bone people

PRESIDENT Joko Widodo again donated sacrificial cows to the people of Bone Regency, South Sulawesi this year for Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah.

According to the head of the South Sulawesi Livestock and Animal Health Service, Nurlina Saking, the president's sacrificial cow was a limousine type and weighed one ton, and the cow came from a breeder in Bone.

He added that President Jokowi's sacrificial cow underwent examination and was declared healthy and suitable for sacrifice, which was directly managed by the State Secretariat.

“Now the process is being finalized and the cow has been declared ready to be a sacrificial animal. The price cannot be determined yet. But based on the weight of the cow, the price is over 80 million IDR,” Nurlina added.

Meanwhile, last year, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah, President Jokowi, who also donated a sacrificial cow to Bone Regency, donated the same type of cow weighing 1.06 tonnes.

Like this year, the cattle were purchased from breeders in Bone, specifically in Mappesangka village, Ponre district, Bone Regency, which takes about two hours' journey from the district capital.
