Satrio Bimo Jokowi's Sacrificial Cow Will Be Sent to Girimulyo Kulon Progo

The Food and Agricultural Safety Service (DKPP) of Bantul Regency said that President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) sacrificial cow, named Satrio Bimo, would be sent as a sacrifice to Kulon Progo Regency. Satrio Bimo will be brought on site this weekend.
Head of DKPP Bantul Joko Waluyo said Satrio Bimo is currently in good condition. In addition, Ongole crossbreed (PO) cattle from breeders in Wonolelo, Pleret and Bantul will be sent to President Jokowi's sacrifice site.
“Sent to Kulon Progo, one of the mosques in Girimulyo, precisely on the border of Kulon Progo with Kaligesing, Purworejo,” Joko told detikJogjaWednesday (12/6/2024).

Satrio Bimo will be sent to the slaughterhouse this weekend by four-wheel vehicle.
“It will be sent to Kulon Progo on Friday (14/6), Friday of this week,” he said.
As previously reported, a cow belonging to a resident of Depok, Wonolelo, Pleret, Bantul was chosen by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to be sacrificed in the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY). The owner did not expect that this nearly one-ton cow would be Jokowi's choice.
The owner of the cow, Zuli Nuryanto (45), said he initially purchased the calf or calf from Kapanewon Banguntapan, Bantul. Then he kept the calf for about 2.5 years.
“I have kept this cow for more than two years, if the total age of this cow is three years,” Zuli told reporters in Wonolelo, Pleret, Bantul, Monday (10/6).
During maintenance, Zuli provides food in herb form, combor in concentrate form twice daily, and supplements once every three months. As a result, the cow became very large.
“That’s why I gave this cow the name Satrio Bimo, which means brave knight. This Bimo weighs 934 kilograms, or almost a ton, and is a cross of Ongole (PO),” a- he declared.
