Projo reveals reshuffle signal from Jokowi's meeting with political party chairmen

Jakarta: President General (Ketum) Pro Jokowi (Projo) Budi Arie revealed the meeting between President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) party at the end of May 2024. Budi revealed that one of the possibilities discussed concerned reshuffle cupboard.
“All possibilities are always open (to discuss reshuffle) I didn't say no,” Budi said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Budi was reluctant to say more about Jokowi's meeting with the party supporting Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Budi just pointed out reshuffle is the prerogative of the president.
“It’s the president’s prerogative, it’s time for us to comment,” he explained.
Apart from that, Budi said this meeting was an effort to strengthen relations between KIM parties. This is necessary in the midst of a transition period for the new government.
“This government must be solid, it is a lasting and continuous synchronization, so consolidation is necessary,” he stressed.
Previously, President Jokowi admitted to meeting with the general chairmen (ketum) of political parties (parpol) supporting the government at the end of May 2024. However, Jokowi did not reveal the contents of the meeting.
