According to the President, currently more than 2.1 million online gaming sites have been closed by the government, in addition to the formation of a task force.
“The online gambling task force will be formed soon and we hope it will accelerate the eradication of online gambling,” the president said.
Recognizing that online gambling has a transnational nature and involves various jurisdictions, the President emphasized the importance of community participation in combating gambling. “One of the most important defenses is the defense of our own society and our personal defense,” he stressed.
The President calls on religious leaders, community leaders and citizens to actively warn, monitor and report all forms of gambling activities. Active participation from all levels of society plays a vital role in efforts to strengthen the national defense against online gaming.
