Long Eid al-Adha holiday, President Jokowi returns home with grandchildren
Solo, Beritasatu.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) once again chose to spend the long Eid al-Adha holiday in his hometown, Solo City, Central Java. It is known that the number one person in Indonesia arrived in Solo City on Friday evening (14/6/2024).
One of the activities carried out by President Jokowi in Solo City was to accompany his grandchildren, Jan Ethes Srinarendra and La Lembah Manah, to play and buy toys at Solo Paragon Mall, Saturday (15/6/2024).
Monitoring Beritasatu.com, the head of state together with Ethes and Lembah arrived at the shopping center around 12:50 WIB. President Jokowi got out of the car and took the two sons and daughters of Vice President-elect (wapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka to the mall.
Visitors to the mall who realized President Jokowi's presence became excited. Many tried to get closer to take photos together, but the tight security of Paspampres prevented residents from approaching freely.
Only those who are called can approach and take a photo with President Jokowi.
After taking a group photo, President Jokowi and his two grandchildren went straight to the 2nd floor of the mall and entered the Happy Time game and tried a number of toys, including a claw machine from doll. President Jokowi was seen accompanying his two grandchildren as they played.
After 30 minutes, the president and his grandchildren left the playground and headed to the Kidz Station toy store. Apparently waiting inside was PSI (Ketum) General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep, who is also President Jokowi's youngest son.
After just 30 minutes of choosing and purchasing toys, President Jokowi left the mall to return to his residence. Meanwhile, Kaesang returned to the living room following his wife, Erina Gudono.
Before leaving the mall, Jokowi distributed T-shirts to residents from the car. Some lucky residents were able to obtain t-shirts with a silhouette of President Jokowi's face.
One of them is Tini (56 years old). The Solo City resident not only had the chance to receive a t-shirt, but was also able to take a photo with President Jokowi.
It's really nice to have a t-shirt to take a photo with too. Although I initially came here for shopping, I met Pak Jokowi and was called to take a group photo. “Thank you, Mr. Jokowi,” he said.
