Jokowi donated a 1.3 ton Limousin cow to the Istiqlal mosque, slaughtered on Tuesday

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin donated cows to the Istiqlal Mosque. Each brought a limousine-style cow weighing more than a ton.
Monitoring detikcom at the Istiqal Mosque, Sunday (16/6/2024), Jokowi's cow was brown and white, while Ma'ruf Amin's cow was brown. Both are housed separately from other cows.
Around Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin's cows, three Paspampres were seen waiting. Both cows were also handled directly by the farmer.

“The one Mr. Jokowi has from Bandung weighs 1.3 tons. The one Mr. Ma'ruf has from Bogor, Tajur Halang, Parung Panjang. The origin is different. It weighs 1.2 tons, the guy is a limousine,” said cattle breeder Untung when met.
Untung said the two cows arrived on Friday (14/6). Both cows were then immediately examined by a veterinarian.
Besides Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming and PDIP General Chairman Megawati also donated cows to the Istiqlal Mosque. A total of 41 cows and seven goats arrived at the Istiqlal Mosque slaughterhouse.
The cows belonging to Prabowo, Gibran and others were placed in the slaughterhouse yard. All the sacrificial animals that arrived there were entered on the list of the reception and maintenance team. Prabowo's cow is black, while Gibran's is brown and white.
“The black cow of Pak Prabowo weighs 1,267 tonnes, Brangus type. It comes from Kemayoran. Meanwhile, the cow of Mas Gibran weighs 1 tonne, brown and white, simental type originating from Cibinong, Bogor, West Java. In the morning , that of Mr. Prabowo, Mas Chez Gibran, it is around 12:40”, said Ahmad Fauzi, the team welcoming the sacrificial animals of the Istiqlal mosque.
Currently, the committee has received 41 cows and seven goats on site. Later, the sacrificial animal will be slaughtered on Tuesday (18/6).
