Gurgaon: A murder case has been registered against a labourer, Mubarik, for allegedly strangling his wife to death on Sunday at their house in Sector 56, Faridabad. The accused had locked his four children in another room before committing the murder. On Monday morning, neighbors opened the door after the children raised the alarm. Imran, a native of Ghaziabad, filed a police complaint, alleging that his sister, Khairun (35), was murdered by her husband, Mubarik. Mubarik is addicted to alcohol. He was unemployed and Khairun ran the house by doing tailoring work. Mubarik used to get drunk and argue with her daily, demanding money. He murdered his wife after an argument with her. He locked the children in a room and strangled his wife. The accused is on the run. We have launched a manhunt to arrest him, said Sector 58 inspector Anoop Singh. At 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Imran received a phone call from his niece, Sadiya, informing him that her father had killed her mother. We immediately rushed to Faridabad. The police were already there when we arrived at the house. I saw Khairun lying dead on the bed with her stole wrapped tightly around her neck, Imran said. Khairun, a native of Mathura, married Mubarik 16 years ago and five years ago, the couple with their four children, Sadiya (14), Safiya (13), Sajid (12) and Saheba (10). ) moved to Faridabad, Imran said. In his complaint, Imran said: Mubarik is addicted to alcohol and used to molest my sister. A few days ago, he came to my house and threatened to kill Khairun and their children if I didn't take them with me, because he didn't want to live with them. Previously too, when he had given me similar warnings after beating Khairun, I had asked his older brothers for help. Instead of resolving the problem, they instigated Mubarik to kill my sister, Imran claimed. Based on his complaint, Sector 58 police registered a case under sections 302 (murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC against Mubarik and his brothers Mustaq, Farukh and Fakru.
