Jembrana Residents' Story About Jokowi's Sacrificial Cow Resurrected After Being Slaughtered

The process of slaughtering a given sacrificial cow President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Taqwa Mosque, Banjar Dauh Pangkung, Pekutatan District, Jembrana, Bali, has become a topic of conversation. The sacrificial cow got up again moments after being slaughtered.
This incident occurred when the 825 kg cow was slaughtered after the Eid al-Adha 1445 AH prayer at the mosque, Monday (17/6/2024). It took 30 people to control the big cow.
After being slaughtered, the cow got up and stood upright. The committee let the cow fall again.

Muhammad Jupri, one of the residents involved in the cow slaughter, said the incident was normal. “It is normal for a cow to get up after being slaughtered, especially since it weighs almost a ton,” Jupri was quoted as saying. detikBaliTuesday (6/18/2024).
“The total number of residents who participated in the slaughter of the sacrificial animals was around 60 people. So we slaughtered the other sacrificial animals first and we actually slaughtered the president's cow last because it was the biggest,” he added.
The 43-year-old also explained that to slaughter the President's original Balinese cow, it took about 30 people in about 30 minutes. This cow is the center of attention of local residents and a highly anticipated moment.
