Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Chairman of the Democratic Party DPP, Herman Khaeron, confirmed that the government cabinet of Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and KH Ma'ruf Amin is currently still strong. According to Herman, there is no substantial political conflict between the ministers.

Herman acknowledged that there were differences of opinion among several ministers regarding the response to a question or matter. According to him, these differences are more about personal differences of opinion and not about policies that were discussed and agreed upon together.
“Conflicts between personal opinions, I think that usually happens during interviews or spontaneous questions. Usually, personal opinions can be different. If you look at the implemented policies, I see that there are no policies different from what is (together) the goal),” Herman said.
Additionally, Herman said, Indonesia's constitutional system does not open up the possibility of political differences between the president and ministers or between one minister and another. The reason is that this policy must first be discussed within the cabinet and within the DPR before finally being implemented.
“Our constitutional system is no different. First, all programs and budgets are also approved in the DPR, discussed by the factions within the DPR. Second, the programs and budgets are approved, and then the program is implemented. This means that if you look at our constitutional system, it does not allow for differences,” he explained.
