Satisfaction with Jokowi government's performance stands at 75.6%

Compass research and development released the results of a survey on satisfaction with government performance President Jokowi and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. As a result, as many as 75.6 percent of respondents were satisfied with the performance of Jokowi-Ma'ruf's government.
This survey was carried out from May 27 to June 2, 2024 through face-to-face interviews. The survey was conducted among 1,200 respondents randomly selected using a systematic multistage sampling method from 38 provinces in Indonesia. 95 percent confidence level, margin of error approximately 2.83 percent.
The survey results showed that 75.6 percent of respondents were satisfied with the performance of Jokowi-Ma'ruf's government and 24.4 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance .

The level of satisfaction with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance increased compared to the December 2023 survey results, which was 73.5 percent. Meanwhile, the level of dissatisfaction with Jokowi-Ma'ruf's performance in December 2023 fell from 26.5 percent.
Here are the results of a survey on the Jokowi government's performance in various areas:
1. Policy and security
– 85.5% of respondents are satisfied
– 14.5% of respondents were dissatisfied
2. Law:
– 57.4% of respondents are satisfied
– 42.6% of respondents were dissatisfied
3. Economy:
– 65.1% of respondents are satisfied
– 34.9% of respondents were dissatisfied
4. Social protection:
– 82% of respondents are satisfied
– 18% of respondents are dissatisfied
The results of the Kompang R&D survey revealed five reasons why respondents were satisfied with the performance of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf government. In first place, 21.7 percent of respondents said they often received social assistance (Jamkesmas, BPT, PKH). Here are the results of the survey on respondents' reasons for satisfaction:

Five reasons why respondents are unhappy with Jokowi's government:
1. Social assistance is unequal and falls short of the target: 3.9 percent
2. The economy is not yet stable/it is difficult to find a job: 3.7 percent
3. Prices of basic necessities/sembako are expensive: 3.5 percent
4. Inconsistent with campaign promises: 1.3 percent
5. The fight against corruption is not yet firm: 0.9 percent
