Public satisfaction level with President Jokowi's government remains high
JAKARTA, TINTAHIJAU.com – The latest survey conducted by Kompas Research and Development in June 2024 shows that the public satisfaction level with the performance of the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin reached 75, 6 percent. This figure is the highest since the investigation into Jokowi's second government began in October 2019.
The President's Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, said the high level of public satisfaction was due to the government's priority to provide services to the community and maintain stability in various areas. According to him, consistent and trouble-free public services are the main key to public appreciation of the government.

Moeldoko also stressed that although there are only a few months left in Jokowi-Amin's administration, it will not disrupt the services provided by the government. Services to the community continued to function well until the end of the government mandate.
“The government is not at all perturbed by the end of this period, we will continue to provide services to the community,” Moeldoko added.
Furthermore, Moeldoko denied that the high level of public satisfaction was due to the social assistance program (bansos) launched by Jokowi. He stressed that this satisfaction was more due to the quality of public services and the stability maintained.
“I don’t think so (because of welfare). I do not think so. “It was the level of public satisfaction because there was a service,” Moeldoko said.
However, survey data shows that the majority of satisfied respondents came from recipients of various government social assistance. More than 80 percent of the classes of society who benefited from various forms of social assistance expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf government.
With the survey results showing this high satisfaction rate, it can be said that Jokowi-Ma'ruf's government managed to maintain public trust until the end of its term. Economic and social stability maintained by the government also helps increase public satisfaction.
