No, Corbyn would not have been a better Prime Minister than Johnson.
Boris Johnson is not Rishi Sunaks biggest fan. But the calculated rudeness of not cutting short his summer vacation to publish a leaflet or two for the man he accuses of throwing him out of Number 10 pales in comparison to the psychodrama surrounding Jeremy Corbyn and Keir Starmer. After serving in his shadow cabinet, making Absolute Boy his best friend and swearing loyalty to his program while running for Labor leadership, Starmer has spent the past four years trying to turn his predecessor into a no -nobody, like a real Stalinist. If Corbyn's independent campaign in Islington North succeeds, one can imagine Starmer's face turning into a flea if he is chosen to speak in PMQs.
As such, Starmer saying on Question Time last night that Corbyn would have been a better Prime Minister than Johnson leaves a bad taste in the mouth. He said he remained loyal to his predecessor because he was sure to lose. We now know the real reason for Johnson's blind hatred. Being a moralistic jerk by nature, a ticket checker wrapped in legalese, it's understandable why Starmer may not be Johnson's biggest fan.
