Malkoo releases new version of pro-Imran Khan song after placement on ECL

Pakistani singer Malkoo has released a new version of his famous folk song Nak Da Koka, in support of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, after he was placed on the no-fly list ahead of his tour to the Kingdom -United.

Although the singer has not shared any snippet or video of the song, former PTI leaders and some journalists have shared the new snippets of the song on social media.

They claimed the new song contained lyrics praising the military. Earlier versions of the song featured on Kaptaan, Qaidi No 804 and Naib Kaptaan.

The development comes after the government put his name on the exit control list a day before his scheduled departure for a series of concerts in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

When his YouTube channel reached milestones, he thanked PTI founder Khan for the feat in a Facebook post.

Former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry described the new song as a press conference, in a veiled reference to former PTI leaders who parted ways with the party after being investigated over the incidents from May 9.
