Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished good luck to the Bangladesh and India cricket teams for their Super 8 match of the 2024 T20 World Cup on Saturday, June 22 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. Notably, both teams are all set to face each other in their respective second Super 8 matches.
This match is extremely crucial for both teams as India will be looking to win to move closer to qualifying for the semi-finals. On the other hand, Bangladesh need a win to stay alive in the competition. As the World Cup fever spreads across the globe, Prime Minister Modi wished both teams good luck for the upcoming match as he addressed a press conference with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, India have had the upper hand over Bangladesh in their T20I history after winning 12 of the 13 matches played between the two teams. However, Bangladesh have given them a tough time in recent years with both teams being involved in several exciting encounters.
