With the theme “Jakarta, a global city of millions of charms”, the commemoration of Jakarta's 497th anniversary marks the transition from the status of the national capital to a new development direction to become a global city.
Not only celebrating its anniversary, this year will also be held the election of the DKI Jakarta Regional Head (Pilkada) 2024.
