Location of State Prize House at Karanganyar, State Secretariat: President to choose

The house gifted by the state to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will soon be built in Colomadu, Karanganyar. Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama said the land was Jokowi's choice.
“The president himself requested and chose the location of his residence, his own considerations and those of his family are of course informed,” Setya told reporters on Thursday (27/6/2024).
The area of Jokowi's house increased from 9,000 to 12,000 thousand square meters. Setya said the land area was within the determined budget ceiling.

“The land area is within the determined budget ceiling,” he said.
“The amount of the budget is regulated by Regulation of the Ministry of Finance 120/PMK.06/2022 regarding the provision, feasibility standards and calculation of the value of housing for former presidents and/or former vice-presidents of the Republic of Indonesia,” Sétia continued.
As previously reported, the area of Jokowi's nursing home increased from 9,000 to 12,000 square meters.

According to him, the land area was increased because there was still land left, so a plot of land was immediately taken to build a retirement home for the 7th president.
Activities to build a house as a gift from the state to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Colomadu, Karanganyar have begun to emerge. It is known that the location of the house is on Jalan Adi Sucipto, Blulukan Village, Colomadu.
Head of Blulukan Village, Slamet Wiyono, said that since Monday (24/6), there have been worker activities in the construction area.
“What we see, since last Monday, there have been perimeter fencing activities in the area where Pak Jokowi's house will be built,” said Slamet when contacted by detikJateng, Tuesday (25/6) .
On site, heavy equipment activity was visible. Several workers were also seen carrying out activities on the one-hectare plot of land.
Even so, Slamet admitted he doesn't know what the next progress will look like. Slamet said construction should be completed next year.
“We don't know what the next progress will be, because we don't know what information will come from CV who will build the house. We don't know what the site plan will look like. We still don't know what it will look like. It will still completed in 2025, this year it will perhaps still be a framework,” he concluded.
For information, President Jokowi will receive a house as a gift from the state in Colomadu, Karanganyar. This house award was given after Jokowi finished his term as president in 2024.
The provision of housing for former presidents and vice-presidents is regulated by Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 52 of 2014 concerning public procurement and standards for housing for former presidents and/or former vice-presidents of the Republic of 'Indonesia.
