Governor Ansar pressures two presidential roads ministers in Riau Islands to establish vocational training centers
KEPRI DISKOMINFO Governor of Riau Islands Province (Kepri) Ansar Ahmad paid a working visit to Jakarta with an audience with Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa and Minister of Manpower work Ida Fauziah in the work rooms of their respective ministries. on Thursday (06/27).
During this visit, Governor Ansar expressed his intention to invite President Joko Widodo to visit Riau Islands Province to inaugurate several completed and currently ongoing national programs.
In the first meeting with Minister Suharso Monoarfa, Governor Ansar discussed several issues, including the continuation of the third phase of development on Penyengat Island, Tanjungpinang, including plans to build the Indonesian Language Monument. It is hoped that President Joko Widodo will directly attend the inauguration.
“We hope that the President can inaugurate several strategic programs, including the revitalization of Penyengat Island and three airports in Riau Islands province,” Governor Ansar said.
The three airports are Tambelan Airport, Bintan Regency; Letung Airport, Anambas Islands Regency; and Karimun Airport which is in the process of extending its runway.
Governor Ansar also sought directives from Minister Suharso regarding the construction of the Presidential Road in the Riau Islands in 2024 so that it can operate optimally, as well as to discuss the Riau Islands Economic Transformation Roadmap which was discussed in Bappenas.
“I hope that the development target of Riau Islands province in 2024 can be maximized and we have high hopes that the President can visit Riau Islands to inaugurate several projects that have been completed and are currently underway,” said Governor Ansar.
Then, Governor Ansar met with Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah. During the meeting, Governor Ansar invited Minister Ida to inaugurate the Batam Vocational Training Center (BLK) and open the first training on July 10.
Governor Ansar hopes that Minister Ida will also be willing to go to Karimun Regency to inaugurate the vocational training workshop building that has been completed.
The Batam BLK, which will be inaugurated by the Minister of Manpower, is a multi-sector BLK, including animation, air conditioning repair, electricity and others, which is expected to improve the work capacity of the people of Riau Islands, said Governor Ansar.
With the presence of the Minister of Manpower, Governor Ansar hopes to generate enthusiasm and motivation to train participants and workers in Riau Islands Province to increase productivity. (Yes)
