3 Kaesang's statement ignored EMS Secretary General's question on Jokowi's promotion to gubernatorial election

PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep rejected the statement of PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Al-Habsyi who said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) proposed Kaesang to run in the gubernatorial elections of Jakarta. Kaesang firmly stated that Aboe Bakar was lying.
Reported Detik NewsFriday (28/6/2024), Aboe Bakar first answered Jokowi's question that there would be a girl in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Aboe then mentioned the name of Kaesang Pangarep, who recently ran in the Jakarta regional elections. He admitted that he knew that Jokowi had proposed Kaesang's name for the Jakarta regional elections.

Kaesang responded to the accusations of PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar. He stressed that Aboe Bakar was lying.

Separately, the President's Special Staff, Grace Natalie, also denied that PKS claimed that Jokowi had proposed the name of PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
