Discussing PDNS hack, Jokowi summons a number of parties

BSSN identified that the attack was carried out by a ransomware named Brain Cipher Ransomware as the latest development of Lockbit 3.0 ransomware.

The attack began with an attempt to disable the Windows Defender security feature on June 17, 2024, which enabled malicious activity on June 20, 2024.

These activities include installing malicious files, deleting important system files, and disabling running services.

“We are currently in the data recovery process. We are following the forensic audit carried out by BSSN. What will Telkom recommend? “Later we will realize it, we will call an executor,” Herlan Wijanarko said after the meeting.
