Receiving the Satyalancana Wira Karya Award from Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Nanang Ermanto expressed his gratitude

Translampung.id,Semarang The city of Semarang in Central Java will host the commemoration of National Family Day (Harganas) in 2024. The highlight of the 31st Harganas commemoration was centered at Pancasila Square, Simpang Lima Semarang, Saturday (29/6/2024).

In Harganas this time, Lampung South Regent H. Nanang Ermanto and PKK Mobilization Team Chairman Hj. Winarni Nanang Ermanto was the only representative from a province in Sumatra to receive the honorary Satyalancana Wira Karya Award from Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

The award was presented by the Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, MAP, to H. Nanang Ermanto and Hj. Winarni Nanang Ermanto in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 50/TK/TAHUN 2024.

In addition to Nanang and Winarni, the Satyalanca Wira Karya Honorary Award was also presented to Dr. Ir. H.W.Musyafirin, MM, Regent of West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Ir. H.Mohammad Ramdhan Pomanto, Mayor of Makasar, South Sulawesi Province, and Dr. Mukodi, M.Sc. Chairman of STKIP PGRI Pacitan, East Java Province.

Satyalancana Wira Karya itself is a badge of honor given by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to its citizens who have rendered great services to the Indonesian state and nation so that they can become role models for others.

The award was given to Nanang Ermanto because he was considered to play an active role in the areas of family development, population and family planning (Bangga Kencana).

In Bangga Kencana district, there is a youth health education and counseling program that involves youth counselors and is supported by the South Lampung Community Self-Sufficient Housing Assistance Program (BAPERSAMA LAMSEL) in the form of assistance in building habitable housing for underprivileged families at risk of stunting, thereby improving the quality of life and well-being of the people of South Lampung district.

Meanwhile, Satyalancana Wira Karya has been entrusted to Winarni as she also plays an active role in the Bangga Kencana field. Winarni is considered successful in reducing stunting through innovation in food self-sufficiency in the form of the Family Nutrition Fulfillment Through Home Garden (PEGI KE MERANG) program.

There is also assistance for cages, gardens and ponds (K3) as part of an effort to meet the nutritional needs of families involving various stakeholders, thereby contributing to food security of residents and helping to reduce stunting in South Lampung district.

It is known that the progress in reducing stunting in South Lampung Regency is very significant. Where the prevalence of stunting cases has decreased from 30 percent in 2020 to 9.9 percent in 2022. And in 2024, the stunting rate in South Lampung Regency will be less than 5 percent.

Nanang said the award was the result of collaboration among all its staff towards family development and reducing stunting on Earth.Khagom Moufakat.

Thank God, this is the result of work at all levels. “I hope this can encourage enthusiasm to reduce the stunting rate in South Lampung Regency to zero,” Nanang said.

However, Nanang continued, the hard work in family development, population, stunting reduction and other fields does not end with this award alone.

According to Nanang, whether he receives an award or not, it is his duty to continue to improve services to the community which, in the future, must continue to be even better.

Let us work together to assume the roles and responsibilities according to our respective fields. “Make this award a motivation for us to continue our development towards a quality family development program towards a golden Indonesia,” he added.
