PKB and PAN say this about Jokowi Sodori Kaesang in Jakarta Pilkada
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The National Awakening Party (PKB) and the National Mandate Party (PAN) discussed the current affairs of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi handed over his youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, in the 2024 regional elections or Jakarta Pilkada.
This news was initially released by Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Secretary General (Sekjen) Aboe Bakar Habsyi, who said that President Jokowi had proposed Kaesang's name to a number of political parties (parpol) to run in the Jakarta elections.

vice-president PKB Jazilul Fawaid has denied that his party was given the name of Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Chairman General Kaesang Pangarep in the 2024 Jakarta legislative elections.

Regarding this news, Jazilul admitted that he was not aware of it and asked to question PKS directly.
“Ask PKS, don’t ask me,” he said.
Jazilul stressed that in nominating names in the regional elections, the PKB decided based on the aspirations at the existing level of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW).
Apart from that, it also pays attention to the national political constellation. For this reason, he said that issues regarding regional elections should not be linked to the President.

PAN: I've never heard of that
According to Jazilul, Team Leader of the DPP Regional Election Office STOVE Yandri Susanto also said that Jokowi never proposed to his party to nominate Kaesang in the 2024 regional elections.
“If Pak Jokowi is a girl, I don't hear that, and Pak Jokowi is not proposing anywhere, no,” Yandri said after meeting with Jokowi in his capacity as deputy chairman of the Indonesian MPR, at the presidential palace in Jakarta. Friday, June 28, 2024.
When asked for his response regarding the issue of President Jokowi's political promiscuity in the 2024 regional elections, he said what happened was that the PAN asked President Jokowi, who is the father of Kaesang, the blessing of bearing the name Kaesang.
According to him, Kaesang, as an Indonesian citizen and general chairman of a political party, has the right to run in regional elections.
However, he added, the possibility of the PAN carrying Kaesang in the regional elections still requires lengthy discussions.
As for PAN's communication with Kaesang, said Yandri, it continues to occur in Kaesang's capacity as General Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party.
