(pelitaekspres.com) TAMIANG LAYANG- President Joko Widodo paid a working visit to East Barito (Bartim) district at two public facility points to directly inspect the Tamenggoeng Djayakarti market to see the economic development and commodity prices as well as inspect the Tamiang Layang Regional Hospital regarding health services and facilities.
During his visit, President Jokowi inspected various facilities in the market by directly greeting traders. Then, the Tamiang Layang Regional Hospital, starting from the treatment room, the emergency unit, to other medical support facilities.
President Jokowi expressed his appreciation for the hospital's efforts to provide the best service to the community and saw for himself how the service at Tamiang Layang Regional Hospital is in general, the service is good, but of course there is still something that needs to be improved so that the community receives services.
In a bid to improve optimal health services, the President saw directly the health workers who were undergoing treatment at the hospital. The President also strives to continue to encourage improvement in the quality of health services in all hospitals in Indonesia, including in remote areas such as East Barito District.
