Jokowi becomes inspector of the National Police Bhayangkara Day ceremony at Monas on July 1
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will be the ceremonial inspector (irup) on Bhayangkara Polri Day which falls on Monday (1/7/2024). The event will be centered in Monas, Jakarta.
Karo Penmas, National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, confirmed that Jokowi would be part of the Bhayangkara Day ceremony. “Yes, it is true, Mr. President,” Trunoyudo said during his confirmation, Sunday (6/30/2024).
The former head of public relations of Polda Metro Jaya said the ceremony was scheduled for around 15:00 WIB.
Earlier, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said the peak of Bhayangkara Day activities fell on Monday around 16:00 WIB in Monas.
However, before that, a number of events on the theme of the National Police were organized with the population, starting with parade entertainment activities that show cultural diversity. The National Police wants the public to be able to benefit from the series of activities offered.
Besides Jokowi, Sigit said, President-elect Prabowo Subianto will be present at the height of Bhayangkara Day.
