Visiting Prabowo after left leg surgery, Jokowi prays for speedy recovery
RIAU ONLINE – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, after surgery on his left leg at the National Defense Central Hospital Panglima Besar Soedirman (RSPPN), Jakarta, Sunday, June 30, 2024.

“Thank God, Mr. Prabowo @prabowo's operation 1 week ago went well. The medical treatment to recover from the injury Mr. Prabowo suffered while serving in the TNI was successfully carried out by a team of doctors and nurses from RSPPN Sudirman,” Jokowi said in the description of his social media upload.
In his upload, President Jokowi appears to visit Prabowo Subianto in a treatment room. The Head of State also prayed for the speedy recovery of the President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029 after the major surgery he underwent.
“Let us pray for Pak Prabowo's recovery process after major surgery If God wills increasingly ready to carry out the task of serving the Indonesian people,” Jokowi said.
Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto was operated on at the Central Hospital of National Defense (RSPPN) Panglima Besar Soedirman, Jakarta, for his left leg which was injured in an accident while serving as soldier in the 1980s.
Prabowo on his Instagram social media account @prabowo explained that the operation took place last week and he is currently recovering from the operation.
Prabowo also thanked the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who came to visit him directly.
