Visiting Jokowi, Prabowo Subianto: Thank you, Mr. President
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto who underwent surgery on his left leg at the National Defense Central Hospital (RSPPN) Panglima Besar Soedirman, Jakarta. Prabowo Subianto also thanked Jokowi who came to visit him directly.
“Thank you to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who provided moral support and prayers,” said Prabowo Subianto.
The moment when President Jokowi visited Prabowo Subianto was uploaded via the Instagram social media account @jokowi which was monitored in Jakarta, Sunday (6/30/2024) evening.
“Thank God, Mr. Prabowo @prabowo's operation 1 week ago went well. The medical treatment to recover from the injury sustained by Mr. Prabowo while serving in the TNI was successfully carried out by a team of doctors and nurses from RSPPN Sudirman,” Jokowi said in the description of his social media upload.
In his upload, a photo of President Joko Widodo appears visiting Prabowo Subianto in a room. In the three uploaded photos, Prabowo Subianto is sitting and standing, and looks healthy and smiling.
The Head of State also wished Prabowo Subianto a speedy and complete recovery after the major surgical operation he underwent. “Let us pray for Pak Prabowo's recovery process after major surgery, so that, God willing, he will be more ready to fulfill his duties in serving the Indonesian people,” Jokowi exclaimed.
Prabowo Subianto underwent surgery at RSPPN Panglima Besar Soedirman, Jakarta, for his left leg which was injured in an accident while serving as a soldier in the 1980s.
On his Instagram social media account @prabowo, Prabowo Subianto explained that the operation took place last week and that he is currently recovering after the operation.
