Happy 78th Bhayangkara Day, Thank You for Your Service to the National Police

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) becomes inspector of ceremonies (irup) Day 78 of Bhayangkara in Silang Monas, Central Jakarta (Jakpus). At the start of his term, Jokowi greeted and wished a prolonged Bhayangkara Day to the National Police family.
“First of all, I would like to wish you a happy new year The 78th Bhayangkara to the entire extended Polri family, wherever you are. “And thank you for your hard work, for the dedication of all members of the National Police in maintaining stability and security,” Jokowi said at the venue, Monday (1/7/2024).
Jokowi then said that the National Police had succeeded in securing the national agenda, namely the 2024 elections. The National Police was also considered to have overseen Indonesia's development agenda.

“The democratic process of the 2024 elections and Indonesia’s major development programs will ensure that our nation can continue to grow despite the current global challenges and uncertainty,” Jokowi continued.
Jokowi then said that the National Police, as a law enforcement agency, plays a central role in society. Jokowi said that the National Police have tasks in contact with the community.
“I respect the extended Polri family, Polri has a central role in society, always in touch with people's daily lives. Polri has no holidays, Polri is everywhere, there is no area that Polri lacks,” Jokowi explained.
Because it is very close to people's daily lives, Jokowi reminded that the movements of all members of the Polri are visible to the public. “But on the other hand, this means that people are also closely monitoring all movements and actions of the National Police,” Jokowi concluded.
