Jokowi congratulates Bhayangkara Polri on 78th birthday
Beritakota.id, Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) conveyed his 78th birthday greetings to the National Police. The president conveyed these remarks via an upload to his official social media account X @jokowi on Monday morning (1/7/2024).
Through his upload, the Head of State advised the ranks of the Bhayangkara Corps to always serve the community wholeheartedly.
“Happy 78th birthday Bhayangkara. “The spirit of always upholding the courage, innovation, solidarity and honor of the National Police in protecting Pancasila and the Republic of Indonesia,” Jokowi said. “And always serve the community wholeheartedly,” he emphasized.
As is known, Bhayangkara Day is celebrated every July 1st. This year, Bhayangkara's 78th anniversary falls on Monday, July 1, 2024.

Bhayangkara Day is a commemoration of the birth of the National Police which was taken in the momentum of the issuance of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 11 of 1946. Marking the 78th anniversary, Bhayangkara Birthday 2024 carries the theme “Precision Policing Supports Acceleration.” sustainable economic transformation towards a golden Indonesia”.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo and 2024 presidential election president-elect Prabowo Subianto are expected to attend the climax of Bhayangkara's 78th anniversary commemoration at the National Monument (Monas) Square on Monday afternoon.
