Bhayangkara Anniversary, Jokowi awarded Bhayangkara Nararya Star to 3 police officers

Jakarta, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo awarded the Bhayangkara Nararya Star Medal of Honor to three staff members National Police the 78th Bhayangkara Day in Monas, Central Jakarta, Monday (1/7/2024).
This honorary mark is awarded in appreciation to members of the National Police who have made great contributions, that is, they were never disabled while serving as members of the National Police.
The award is stated in Presidential Decree Number 59 TK 2024 regarding the award of Bhayangkara Nararya Star Honor.

The presidential decree was read by the President's Military Secretary (Sesmil) as Secretary of the Merit and Honor Council, Major General TNI Rudy Saladin.
“Awarding the honor of the Bhayangkara Nararya Star to those whose names, ranks and positions are mentioned in the attachment to this decision in tribute to those members of the National Police who have made great contributions with courage, wisdom and extraordinary courage beyond the call of duty whether or not they contributed to the progress and development of the police. “I was disabled while serving in the police force,” Rudy said.
Based on his statement, this decision was made in Jakarta on June 14, 2024.
After reading the decision, President Jokowi then addressed the three National Police officers to present them directly with the badge of honor.

Meanwhile, Jokowi stressed that the National Police should not be selective in the law enforcement process.
He asked the National Police to demonstrate professionalism in the exercise of their duties. In particular, Jokowi said, in the face of increasingly complex and sophisticated transnational crimes.
