Jokowi asks single ASNs who move to IKN to share apartments

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo has decided that state officials (ASN) married couples can occupy an apartment in the capital of the archipelago (IKN).
However, for ASNs who are not yet married (Single) will share an apartment with the ASN Single other.
This was conveyed by Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas after attending a limited meeting discussing the transfer of ASN to IKN at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (1/7/2024).
“Previously, the President decided specifically for level I that they would live alone, especially those who are married. And then, for those who are not yet married, 1 unit consisting of 3 fairly large rooms will be occupied by 3 ASN “, Azwar clarified.
“So those who are married will have 1 apartment, and the apartment is quite large, namely (measuring) 98 meters,” he said.

According to Anas, by November 2024, 47 towers will be completed as apartments.
An apartment tower will contain 60 apartments.
Then, of the 47 towers that will be completed, 29 will be used by the ASN and the other 18 towers will be occupied by the TNI/Polri.
As for Monday's meeting, the President Jokowi also asked the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas, to draw up a detailed regulation regarding the transfer of ASN to IKN.
