Jokowi agrees that civil servants with families can get 1 apartment in IKN, single?
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Strengthening the State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpanrb) Azwar Anas revealed that President Joko Widodo had decided the fate of the ASN which would move to the capital of the archipelago (IKN) , East Kalimantan. The program is for ASNs without families or singles who will share an apartment with other ASNs.
This was stated by Azwar Anas after a limited meeting with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), regarding the transfer of ASN to IKN at the State Palace in Jakarta, Monday (1/7/2024).
He assured that level I ASNs who have families will benefit from an apartment with an area of 93 square meters.
“Earlier, the President decided that specifically for Tier I, it will be occupied alone, especially those who are married,” Azwar Anas told reporters.
“And then, for those who are not yet married, 1 unit is made up of 3 fairly large rooms and will be occupied by 3 ASNs,” he said.
In addition, Azwar Anas explained that the transfer of IKN was carried out in stages, while waiting for the infrastructure where the ASNs live to be ready. According to him, in coordination with the PUPR Ministry, until next November, there will be 47 ASN residential towers consisting of 60 units with an area of 98 square meters.
Of the 47 towers, 29 towers will be occupied by ASN officers and 18 towers by TNI-Polri. He explained that according to his calculations, if the 29 towers were occupied by the 1 ASN, they could accommodate 1,740 ASN officers and 1,080 TNI-Polri officers.
“For ASN, if a tower is occupied by one person, there will be 1,740 ASNs,” Azwar Anas said.
He presented the schedule that by July, 8 ASN residential towers would be constructed with a total of 480 units completed. In September there were 14 residential towers or 840 residential units, in November there were 7 towers with a total of 420 residential units.
