In a fiery speech peppered with shots at the opposition and Congress member Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the BJP government was following 'santushtikaran' and not 'tushtikaran' amid continued sloganeering by INDIA bloc MPs.

As Prime Minister Modi began speaking, opposition members started shouting “Justice for Manipur” and entered the well of the House in protest. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla was seen reprimanding opposition leader Rahul Gandhi for ordering the members to enter the well.
Undeterred by the slogans, the Prime Minister trained his guns on the Congress and compared its decade-long rule to that of the UPA era. “The people's mandate for the Congress is to remain where it is, in opposition,” he said amidst banging of fists on the desks of the treasury members.
