Islamabad [Pakistan]July 3 (ANI): Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday dispelled the impression of any forward bloc within the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and said a decision regarding PTI defectors was yet to be taken, Pakistani daily The Dawn reported.

Khan said there were “no major differences” among party leaders after the trial in a Rs 190 million corruption case in which the court granted post-arrest bail to his wife, Bushra Bibi. Referring to the US Congress resolution on Pakistani elections, he said the national and international media had raised questions over the transparency of the February 8 elections, Dawn reported.

He said the resolution could not be termed as US “interference” as it questioned the transparency of elections, unlike encryption which “threatened” the elected regime. He added that he stood by his remarks on Donald Lu's interference in Pakistan's internal affairs, Dawn reported.

He also criticized the government for imposing taxes and increasing prices instead of cutting spending in the budget. He warned that the budget would increase inflation. He said it was time to get the country out of the crisis, suggesting that holding new fair and transparent elections was the only solution.
