Working visit of President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana to South Sulawesi province
President Joko Widodo accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo paid a working visit to South Sulawesi Province on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Via Indonesian Air Force Base Halim Perdanakusuma in Jakarta, the head of state and his entourage took off on the Indonesian presidential plane. 1 around 07:00 WIB.
Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Mr. Yusuf Permana, said that upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin Air Base, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, the President and Mrs. Iriana would continue their journey to Bone Regency using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter. In Bone Regency, the President is expected to review the provision of assistance to water pumps.
From Bone Regency, President Iriana and her entourage will continue their trip to Sinjai Regency. In Sinjai Regency, President Jokowi will inspect the local Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
“It is expected that at RSUD, the President will conduct an inspection of the hospital facilities and at the same time, he will also review the BPJS health services operating there,” said the Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media, Mr. Yusuf Permana in his written statement.
Also accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana on the flight to South Sulawesi province were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Military Secretary to the President TNI Major General Rudy Saladin, and Paspampres Commander TNI Major General Achiruddin.
Seen to attend President Jokowi's departure at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta were Pangdam Jaya TNI Major General Mohamad Hasan, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto, Pangkoopsud I Marshal TNI Mohammad Nurdin and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marshal TNI Destianto Nugroho Utomo.
