Andi Utta: Thank you, Mr. President Jokowi.
PLUZ.ID, BULUKUMBA – President Joko Widodo accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo took time to visit Bulukumba Regency as part of his two-day working visit to South Sulawesi Province, Thursday-Friday (4-5/7/2024).
There were three points specifically visited by Jokowi and his wife, namely Tanjung Bira and spending the night there, Cekkeng Bulukumba Market and H Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional Hospital.
Jokowi and Iriana were accompanied by Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, acting South Sulawesi Governor Zudan Arif Fakrulloh and Bulukumba Regent Andi Muchtar Ali Yusuf.
Bulukumba Regent Andi Muchtar Ali Yusuf also expressed his special thanks for the President's visit to Bulukumba Regency.
“First of all, let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude and joy that today, Bulukumba Regency received the arrival of distinguished guests, namely Mr. President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir H Joko Widodo with First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and several ministers, including the Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Health, and Minister of Public Works and Land Management,” said Andi Utta, the typical nickname of Andi Muchtar Ali Yusuf, Friday (5/7/2024).
According to him, it was an honor and a historic moment for all the people of Bulukumba, because for the first time, the President of the Republic of Indonesia visited Bulukumba Regency.
“We hope that President Joko Widodo's two-day working visit to Bulukumba Regency will be an impetus for Bulukumba Regency to receive greater attention from the central government for the development and welfare of the people of Bulukumba Regency,” he said.
Andi Utta admitted that the regional government hopes that President Jokowi's visit will open new opportunities for the progress and well-being of the Bulukumba community.
“Of course, the President’s visit will have a positive impact on the development of Bulukumba in the future, and will provide additional motivation to the regional government and the people of Bulukumba to continue working hard to advance the Bulukumba Regency that we all love,” he said.
President praises Bulukumba regional hospital services
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo, while monitoring the services of the Agency Administering Health Social Security (BPJS) during his visit to the H Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja (RSUD) Regional General Hospital in Bulukumba Regency, listened directly to the stories of a number of patients.
“Iriana Joko Widodo and I received stories about good health services, especially the services of the Social Security Administrative Agency (BPJS) when we visited the H Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja (RSUD) Regional General Hospital in Bulukumba Regency.
